FOOD CHRISTMAS HAMPER From w/b 27th November we will be collecting food items for a food hamper to donate to the local senior citizens at the Newarthill Bowling Club Christmas Lunch. A donations box will be at the reception area in the nursery, we thank you in advance for your contributions. CHRISTMAS IN THE COMMUNITY The children in the 3-5 room will be visiting Newarthill Bowling Club on Thursday 14th December to sing Christmas carols for the local senior citizens. CHRISTMAS DOOR COMPETITION All areas will be involving the children in decorating their room doors, the winning room will be announced on Friday 15th Dec. Christmas Nativity CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS LUNCH Wednesday 20th December A traditional Christmas Turkey lunch will be served on this day instead of what is stated on our menu (Special dietary requirements will be catered for)

A group of children from the 3-5 room visited Newarthill Bowling Club on Thursday 14th December to sing Christmas carols for the local senior citizens at the Christmas lunch hosted by Newarthill Community Council. The children did a fantastic job entertaining the guests and were given selection box as a special treat. As you may be aware the nursery has been collecting donations for a hamper to donate as a free raffle prize to the Christmas lunch. We are very happy to say that thanks to the kind and generous donations made by our parents, their families and our staff we were able to make 3 gifts to raffle as a first, second and third prize, well done to the lucky winners.We would like to say thank you to Newarthill Community council for inviting the children to join their Christmas celebrations and a huge thank you to all our parents, families and staff who donated items to the hamper.

A huge congratulations to all the staff and children in the clyde room for winning this years Christmas room door completion. Well done to all the children in all the rooms as all your doors looked amazing. I am sure you will all agree that all the Christmas doors and the winter wonderland have helped make Bellwood nursery look very festive.
