HELP US LOOK AFTER OUR PETS

If you have been in the nursery recently you will have noticed our new pet corner. Our staff and children help to look after our pets and we would also like to as for your help. When visiting our pet corner please encourage your children not to bang on the fish tank or the guinea pig enclosure as you will scare them and this can be harmful. The guinea pigs are only at reception in the morning as they spend the rest of the day being looked after by the children in the OOS or enjoying the fresh air outside.
POSTER MASTERS COMPETITION

We recently informed you of our new competition being run by the children in the Out of School called Poster Masters. We would like to ask you all to support our children by encouraging your child to enter their competition. Their rules for the competition are simple: 1. This months topic is Nature, make a picture of anything in nature. You can draw it, paint it collage it, its up to you. 2. Please use an A4 piece of white paper, either landscape or portrait. 3. Art work has to be handed into the nursery reception by Friday 28th September. 4. Make sure your child's name is on the artwork. 5. All artwork must only be completed by the child, no adults are allowed to take part or help. The children are so excited to see all your artwork. Thank you all in advance for your support.

We would like to introduce you to our receptions Lia. She will be your first contact in the nursery and will be able to assist you with your general enquiries, invoice payments, lunch payments etc. Please help us welcome her to our nursery by saying Hi to her when you come to nursery.

The 3-5 area are currently taking part in the topic All about me. As part of this topic they are learning about different foods in different cultures. We would like to ask you if you or anyone you know has any recipe suggestions that the children can make and taste? We are looking to focus on snack like foods from around the world that are simple for the children to make. If you also have the time we would like to invite you into the nursery to show the children how these foods are made. You can post your recipies on facebook and speak to the staff if you wish to come into the nursery and get involved.
