CHRISTMAS IN THE COMMUNITY

A group of children from the 3-5 room visited Newarthill Bowling Club on Thursday 14th December to sing Christmas carols for the local senior citizens at the Christmas lunch hosted by Newarthill Community Council. The children did a fantastic job entertaining the guests and were given selection box as a special treat. As you may be aware the nursery has been collecting donations for a hamper to donate as a free raffle prize to the Christmas lunch. We are very happy to say that thanks to the kind and generous donations made by our parents, their families and our staff we were able to make 3 gifts to raffle as a first, second and third prize, well done to the lucky winners.We would like to say thank you to Newarthill Community council for inviting the children to join their Christmas celebrations and a huge thank you to all our parents, families and staff who donated items to the hamper.
