ROBERT BURNS DAY FRIDAY 25TH JANUARY

This year Robert Burns day falls on a Friday and we would like to invite all our children who normaly attend nursery on a Friday to come to nursery wearing tartan. Staff and children from all nursery areas can wear as much tartan as they want. During the day children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Scottish themed activities including games, dancing, food tasting and listening to Scottish music.
NORTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL’S GIFT APPEAL

Dear Parent/Carer We would like to thank all of our parents and carers who donated toys and gifts for us to donate to North Lanarkshire Council’s Festive Gift Appeal. The Festive Gift appeal is in conjunction with Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire and local community groups and aims to provide toys and gifts for families struggling to afford presents for Christmas. We were amazed by the response to our appeal for such a worthy cause. Your generosity will go a long way to benefit families in the North Lanarkshire area. Last year, around 600 families and 1500 children across North Lanarkshire received gifts from thousands of donations received through the appeal. Today some children from the 3-5 Room went along with the staff to donate the toys and gifts, which were gratefully received at the donation pick up point. Thank you once again for your support

The nursery and out of school will close on: Friday 21st December at 4.30pm All children must be collected before 4:30pm. We will re-open on Monday 7th January 2018 8am

A huge thank you to everyone who suggested a name for our elf. All the suggestions from Facebook were added to our suggestion box which was full of your names and one was randomly selected. The winning suggestion and the new name for our elf is Sparkles the Elf.
